Frequently Asked Questions

Why are there only 299 tickets available for sale?

    - 299 is the building's capacity as described by the fire marshal. We are legally required to keep the occupancy of Roble Gym below 300, so we can only have 299 bodies in the building at all times.

What is this “late-nite” ticket? I've never heard of it before.

    - We are offering a post-1am ticket in an effort to accommodate those who:
- could not get a full-price ticket before it sold out,
- have another engagement that prevents them from attending Big Dance in during its live entertainment portion.

The “late-nite” ticket is a half-price ticket that allows enthusiastic dancers to get into the dance as others trickle out for the night. We will be keeping a tally of the number of attendees so that we can let in as many people as possible later in the night.

When will late-nite tickets be available for sale?

    - Late-nite tickets will be available for sale beginning at 1am. Their availability is based on the number of dancers currently in the building. The availability will increase as the night goes on. As live entertainment leaves, that opens up more spots for dancers in the building!

How can I know my chances of getting a ticket at the door?

    - Check our blog on which we will provide 30-min updates on the capacity of the building, so that you know how many spots are available. That said, those who are chilling out in the lobby waiting for a spot to open up will get first dibs on opened spots!
